Matt retired from the Washington State National Guard in 2024 after 23 years of service. 

He entered active duty in 2001 with the Army and was deployed to Iraq from January 2004-January 2005 as a Motor Transport Operator. In 2005, he switched to the National Guard as a Diesel Mechanic. 

He and his family are beginning a new chapter as small business owners for Down Range Hauling Services LLC and would love to earn your business.
